She is also the co-founder of google sheep view, an avid knitter, and member of the White Light Collective (alongside Isa Gelb & Oliver Liria). She photographs only with analog because it “preserves the tangibility of the medium” while in digital photography, the elimination of the photographic process makes it completely intangible.
Her work is delicate, poetic and extremely observative. As for the themes she captures, coming from a multi cultural background (Chinese-American-Dutch), she’s interested in “universal symbols and connections that can transcend cultures”.
