Xavier Aragones (b. 1979) is a Spanish photographer based in Terrasa, a town near Barcelona. He began getting interested in photography in his early twenties, when he started to take long aimless walks on his own around Barcelona, the city where he was living in at the time.
A photographic camera seemed to him the best medium to capture the childish sense of awe and wonder he felt whenever he got into unknown territory.
Concerning his style, he claims not to be very analytical of his own work but in general he tends to convey the particular atmosphere of a place, suggesting possible narratives rather than straight storytelling.
