Emilia Cocking is a young photographer from Kent, South East England, we’ve come across her work via submissions. What drew her to pick photography as a medium of expression was its accessibility: “A photograph has this ability to simplify what’s around us and make you see something purely as form and light. I really want people to look at one of my images and see the everyday in a way that maybe they haven’t before, and the approachable nature of the photograph is a good platform to show that through.”
The simplicity of her work is what really caught our attention: the game of shapes, spaces and colors in her photographs compose clean and graphic images that appeal to the eyes. More to see on her website.
